September 22 and 23rd Northeast District 4-H held their first horse show at the UGA Livestock Instructional Arena in Athens, Georgia.  Eight 4-H students from Hancock County competed, Alex Caldwell, Cedarius Ingram, Breanna Kuschel, Rickevia Leslie, Kirsten Prentiss, Kylie Prentiss, Emma Wilson, and Jurnee Worthen.  Riders could compete in five divisions, Hunt Seat, Saddle Seat, Stock Seat, Ranch, and the Contest Division.  Just to make things interesting there were also five fun classes: Lipstick, Egg & Spoon, Costume, Ribbon Race, and Ride-a-Buck.  (Read more)
